Established in 2018, The Liquid Collective creates stunning and impacting photography and videography that we hope will resonate deeply within the soul of the viewer and leave a lifelong impression. Our name comes from growing up on the Australian coastline, salt stuck on our lips and in our hair, water dripping off our fingertips, and showcases the collective experiences of our time on this planet immersed in different liquid states of surf, snow and other action/adventure sports and lifestyles we can’t live without.
We specialise in commercial and editorial action sports and lifestyle photography within the snow, surf, outdoor recreation and lifestyle industries, as well as producing exquisite fine art prints and engaging social media content for both individuals and brands. We work closely with your company, embracing and amplifying your most important values to ensure the delivered product matches your vision and your expectations from the genesis of your campaign through to completion.
We are based out of the Sunshine Coast, Australia, but tend to spend most of our days travelling the world and being at home in mountain towns during the winter seasons and have so far extensively visited countries such as Japan, New Zealand, The United States and Canada. In many of these locations, Josh has worked as a snowboard instructor and backcountry guide and achieved a Bachelor of Business, with a major in Marketing and a Japanese language minor.
WHO WE ARE
“Growing up on the Sunshine Coast gave me a huge appreciation for the outdoors, with so many hours spent surfing and riding and skating around the streets with friends and cousins. It wasn't until after finishing school that I started to be drawn to photography and I have been chasing it ever since. Because of my upbringing, and my choice of career in the snow industry as an adult, it felt so natural to me that my most enjoyed type of shooting circulated around adventure sports, lifestyle and outdoor industries and the people that occupied spaces in these gorgeous landscapes as they did the things they loved.
Early gear gave way to more professional equipment, and after countless hours of learning, practice and failure, it has all led to this point. I'm more than excited to bring you with me on this journey and share these precious moments in time. I hope my images exemplify the obsession for life and passion for success, challenge and emotion that weaves its way through myself and the fabric of humanity. Thank you for taking such an interest in my work.”
