Madarao-Kogen is a special place in my heart. I spent four months living here, working as a ski instructor, snowboard instructor and backcountry guide. The landscape is incredible, the amount of snow is insane and the trees are thick and technical. It possesses a soul that a lot of ski resorts I've visited may have buried down below the icy ground, but it's just one of many gems in the Nagano Prefecture. Created and presented by The Liquid Collective.

We’ve been working on it for a few weeks now and it’s all about a beautiful, soulful place hidden in the Japanese Alps that we’ve called home for the last few months. It was hard to say goodbye to such a great crew and such a unique and hidden place and head back to the rush and craziness that is Tokyo, but we will be back next season with more content from this special place.
