NEW YEAR, NEW ME, ALL THAT…

2017 is finally here! 

So I really had no idea what to write for this blog - I haven’t shot for a week or so now because of the whole Christmas and New Year business and I have been working as much as I can on getting the back end of JDK Photography consistent and as professional as possible (one of my own new year resolutions, amongst others). Adding to that, Tahoe has received a huge amount of snow over the last week (upward of three feet in just as many days in some places) and I’ve been snowboarding because I’m now on holidays and I can! The weather has been awful the last two days, with flash flood warnings, high winds and heavy rain forecasted for the next few days before the snow returns, so not very ideal conditions to shoot in - much better for movies.

We do have a few announcements that we thought we would let everyone know about. 

+ We are very excited to launch our brand new online store! 

From here, we will be adding selected products for purchase, but our store will now allow you to book your next photo session online! This works best with our preset session packages (all of which can be viewed here), so if you are looking to customise a package, please contact us directly. 

PLEASE NOTE ALL SESSIONS NEED TO TAKE PLACE AFTER THE 1ST OF APRIL 2017 ONCE I RETURN FROM THE US TO AUSTRALIA. We are more than willing to organise all the details of your session so you are ready once the 1st arrives, but unfortunately will not be able to shoot until this date.

+ Work on our brand new time lapse film, CELESTIAL, is continuing when possible - weather has placed a bit of a hold on shooting but once the skies clear, we will be back on track with shooting and hope to release the short film by June 2017 at the latest, so keep an eye out!
