PERSONAL PROPINQUITY

If you’re reading this, you’ll find it to be a little more of a personal appreciation post rather than a business related or content related one, however I also hope it will show a more personal side to my life and what I do with myself when I am not shooting and creating content for the world to see.

When people ask, I actually say that I have two professions: One obviously being the photography world that I’m involved in, but I also spend my time following winters and teaching snowboarding and exploring backcountry areas, which I believe compliments the work I produce beautifully. No job is always as perfect as it seems, with lots of stormy cold wet days, lack of sleep and dull aches in your body that never seem to subside.

But every job has downsides - and the positives most certainly outweigh the worst day that I’ve had following winters. Constant travel, the people I get to meet, the landscapes I feel under my feet and the opportunity to always continue to work on myself and push physical, emotional and mental boundaries are addictive and keep me coming back for more. And I hope the following photos will help to provide a little of this insight to you.

Not a bad lifestyle :) Rich in ways some people unfortunately never get to experience.

What do you think? Never take a day for granted, I have begun to try and wake up every day and try not take the little I have for anything less than amazing.

As always, feel free to send a message, share the post or just enjoy the read.

Peace.

Josh
