A few weeks ago, I went with a couple of friends to Ohau Ski Field - first time going to the place and didn’t really know what to expect from it as a small club field in the middle of Canterbury (not like what I am used to skiing in New Zealand), but there was no way I was going to be going anywhere without my camera, of course.
AUGUST UPDATE
Hey there, it’s been a minute. If you were unaware, we are in New Zealand! And in lockdown. Level 4 lockdown started on Tuesday this week, and personally, I am fortunate enough that this is my first real experience of this throughout the last year and a half of COVID.

For the last few years, I have been planning to submit a few images to this competition, which in the world of landscape and panoramic photography, is a big deal. But for whatever reason (probably just being a lazy shit), I never got around to it.

Probably not what you were expecting right? This is one of my absolute favourite photos I’ve ever taken. Wasn’t even taken on a professional camera, or even an entry level camera, I think my old iPhone 5s.
